Z’Chef worked tirelessly to present an elegantly whimsical spread for our retirement/house warming event. From a simple yet sophisticated appetizer table to ethnically diverse entrees, some involving days of prep, the meal finished with delicious made-to-order 3 tiered Tuxedo cakes. There was an abundance of food for all to enjoy, and each course had specially made condiments to add gourmet flair to the offerings. To watch Roy create the meal was not unlike witnessing a painter produce a fine work of art. One perceptive guest described the display of food paired with ambiance as “magical!” – J. Conte

My wife and I were fortunate to have Chef Roy Z prepare the meal for a dinner party we had this past weekend. From the first phone conversation I had, weeks earlier, with Roy (to discuss what type of dinner we were striving for) through his post dinner clean up, he absolutely gave me a peace of mind that our eight person dinner would go off without a hitch. Roy’s suggested five course meal was consistently spectacular, from the butternut squash soup all the way through to the multi topping crepe bar. Roy was at ease throughout his food prep, deftly engaging in small talk with our guests as he filled our home with the most amazing aromas. I recently hired Chef Roy to prepare a birthday dinner for 7 people. After talking to Roy about his numerous menu options, we decided on bruschetta as an appetizer, bacon wrapped scallop salad, scalloped potatoes, roasted vegetables and Beef Wellington, and Creme Brûlée for dessert. His attention to detail and expertise in the kitchen were exceptional. During food preparation we enjoyed conversing with Roy about his experiences in preparing meals for a variety of clients.
